MOL Compressol 100 is a high performance lubricant developed for the lubrication of cylinders and drive mechanisms of piston type compressors. It is a blend of highly refined mineral oils that has low tendency to form sediments and contains additives for effectively inhibiting oxidation and corrosion. It is excellent for lubricating high capacity compressors used for compressing air or other neutral gases, such as nitrogen, hydrogen and hydrocarbon derivatives. It allows extended oil change intervals. Depending on the load, 5000-8000 operating hour service intervals can be achieved without the oil degrading or forming deposits. It cannot be used for the lubrication of oxygen or chlorine compressors, or for compressors used for aggressive gases.
Applications
- Single- and multi-stage reciprocating compressors
- Air compressors working under arduous conditions and generating high pressures and discharge temperatures reaching 220 °C
- Closed circuit compressors transmitting hydrocarbons or inert (non-corrosive) gases used in the chemical industry
- Bearings operating at high temperatures
