Ing. Slavomír Hatina, Dr.h.c. has functioned in Slovnaft since 1970, where he worked as a laborer and later a technician, head of operations, also director of the Petrochémia (Petrochemistry) plant until he became general director of SLOVNAFT, a.s. From 1994 to 1998, he was general director and company president from 1998-2001. He worked continuously from 1994 to February 2005 as Chairman of the Board of Directors. From 1995 to December 2014 he served as Chairman of the Board of Directors of Slovintegra, a.s. He is currently a member of the MOL Supervisory Board, Rt. and CEO and Chairman of the Board of Directors of BIATEC GROUP, a.s. Slavomír Hatina graduated from the Department of Organic Technology at the Chemical Technology Faculty at the Slovak University of Technology in Bratislava and a managerial course in Italy. In 2001, the Slovak University of Technology in Bratislava awarded him the title of Doctor Honoris Causa.
